   BRAUMS Roadside, Electrical, ITS and Field Cabinets now available 

SYDNEY, NSW, AUGUST 2024 – BRAUMS announces a new Australian designed and engineered field and roadside cabinet range.

BRAUMS Cabinets are designed from the ground up in Australia, by our own BRAUMS Engineering team, to meet and exceed Australia standards in every Australian state and territory.

Every cabinet is assembled locally and tested to the most stringent levels to ensure the best quality cabinets in the market are deployed to keep our communities safe.

The FC0900 Ground Mounted Enclosure (GME) is the gold standard in field cabinets. Manufactured from marine grade aluminium, with a 6063 T5 extruded frame. The FC0900 4x door enclosure is suitable for any ITS application across Australia, due to its size, and versatile design and is type approved with TfNSW.

The FC1000 was designed to suit the TfNSW TSI-SP-012 specification and includes a 23RU 19” rack to host a wide range of ITS applications.

The FC1029 shares similar design to the FC1000, whilst offering a second door, and forced ventilation options where required.

The FC1800 boasts all the features of the FC0900, twice over! This cabinet provides even more space and versatility, allowing for many systems all in one cabinet: built in UPS, fibre and networking, vehicle detection, CCTV, VLS & VMS control, and more, for all highway control and management needs.

For this reason, the FC1800 has been selected for use on the M12 motorway.

The BED T2 - "The Braums Electrical Distribution Cabinet Type 2, (BED T2), is used to meter all traffic signal controllers in Vic, and is approved to DPT- PA 030 427, and VSIR - SIR201221B.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming installation of our latest innovation, the QGME UPS (Quad ground mounted enclosure, Uninterruptible power supply). 

The QGME will provide reliable power for Tunnel solutions, enhancing safety and reliability. This large UPS is the first of its kind and was designed as a custom variant of for use as a tunnel UPS.
